We want to ensure your new items arrive quickly and safely. All orders will be dispatched the following working day unless stated otherwise.
We offer two delivery services; standard and First Class. You will automatically receive standard delivery and have the option to upgrade to First Class if you wish to receive your items sooner.
Delivery details are as follows:
First Class: 1-2 working days (from dispatch) - £5.00
Standard: 2-5 working day delivery - £2.50
Delivery to Isle of Man and Channel Islands may take longer due to customs checks.
For larger parcel delivery (too large for Royal Mail) to remote parts of the UK such as; the Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands, Isle of Man or Republic of Ireland, please contact us for a delivery quote as delivery costs to these locations can vary depending on volumetric weight. If an order is placed without obtaining a quote it could result in a delay to the dispatch of your order and a request for a delivery 'top-up' payment.
For international delivery costs £6.00.
We DO NOT deliver to PO BOX addresses.
We want you to fall in love with your items but we understand sometimes this just does not happen. We are happy to refund your items within 28 days if you have contacted us for an RMA (returns merchandise authorisation) code within 14 days of receipt and the item is then received by us within 14 days of the return code being issued. If 14 days have gone by since you received your purchase and you have not requested an RMA, unfortunately we cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Firstly contact us via the contact page, we will then issue you a returns reference number.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Postage and packaging costs are not refundable.
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at thehyggestore@gmail.com.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at thehyggestore@gmail.com we will then arrange to exchange your item. If your item is faulty and an exchange is issued you will not have to pay postage and packaging.
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
PLEASE NOTE - returns are your responsibility until the item is received by us, therefore you should consider using a trackable delivery service and/or purchasing insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
